Study Visit to Hungary
We Successfully Completed Our Study Visit to Hungary with the Representatives of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) in Türkiye under the Digital Europe Programme, nationally coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
On the first day of the visit, Mr. Ahmet Halit Hatip, Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Technology; Mr. Bülent Özcan, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation at the Directorate for EU Affairs; and EDIH representatives attended a networking event hosted by H.E. Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Hungary.
As part of the 2025 Türkiye–Hungary Year of Science and Innovation, the programme—organized by the Directorate for EU Affairs—featured meetings with Magyar Fejlesztésösztönző Iroda Nonprofit Kft. (MFOI Advisory), HPC CC Hungary, MI EDIH Hungary / AI EDIH Hungary, Hungarian Data-EDIH, DigitalTech EDIH, and AEDIH – Agricultural European Digital Innovation Hub for Hungary.
These meetings laid the foundation for strategic collaborations between Turkish and Hungarian EDIHs, while also providing in-depth insights into the governance structures, service models, and operational strategies of Hungarian EDIHs.
